Based on the technology acquired through the development of switches, OTAX Corporation has been researching and developing special LEDs and lasers for medical non-blood-collecting blood sensors and blood analyzing systems and control systems for senile dementia patients.
As the result of these efforts, OTAX medical sensors were approved for manufacturing by the Japanese Ministry of Health & Welfare on December 25, 1992. The company is also active in new business such as sales of electronic switches for nursing homes, automatic surveillance system for houses (CCD cameras), and other complex systems.
